Bourbon Smoked Bourbon Pecans
Want a tasty treat for a road trip or great snack for tailgating! These are a great smoked treat.

1 cup white sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 egg white
1 tbsp water
1 lb. pecan halves
1 tbsp of bourbon
1 big handful of BARREL PROOF Bourbon Barrel Bark Smoking Chips
Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl.
Beat the egg white and water together in a separate bowl until they are frothy and peaks begin to form. Add the bourbon until combined.
Toss the pecans in the egg white mixture, and then mix the sugar mixture in until the pecans are evenly coated. Spread the coated pecans onto a pizza pan with holes or a foil pan with holes poked in the bottom.
Get your smoker to 300 degrees. Throw in a handful of BARREL PROOF Bourbon Barrel Bark and place plate setter/ heat deflector in your smoker. Once the thick smoke has thinned down, add your coated pecans to your smoker, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned; this should take about 1 hour.
